Four Winds

Four Winds is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is an ideal setting for accessing the local beaches and amenities. On a local bus route we are just 9 miles from Bideford, a lively local town. The young people at the house can access local youth groups offering a variety of different activities. We work alongside Devon Action for Youth and the Wings Project. Four Winds is an activity based unit promoting fun and learning!

Our detached house has a warm, homely and comfortable atmosphere! Residents can participate in leisure activities such as swing ball and enjoying the trampoline. We also have a picnic area for socialising, admiring the scenery and dinning alfresco – we are able to take pleasure in viewing the local wildlife including foxes, hedgehogs and various birds.

There are two separate bathrooms for the sole use of the young people residing at the unit. We have a spacious lounge with Sky television and character features. kitchen/dinning area which provides a friendly social space for residents. We also have a conservatory and separate laundry room as well as a dedicated computer area.

The school bus stops just opposite the house for ease of transport. Education is very important to the young people at Four Winds; they can attend Acorn school, Bideford college or have tutoring within the home.
